Message: Zombie apocolypse theory to what sort of transmission one should have: Puke grabs his guns and Miko gets in his pickup throws that bad boy in "D" and blasts his way to safety. Andrew grabs Kitty gets in his sports car. On a hill he has to put his gun in his lap to shift down to third accidently shooting himself... then he is ate. Kitty runs off (never hurt a puppy in dumb stories unless you want people to write you nasty letters) The good news is right up until things went wrong Andrew had a much more intuned relationship with the car. In other words in a SHTF situation the automatic wins, unless you need a bump start....
